Short Biography

​Jasmine Fang is the author of Beneath the Same Round Moon (Beaming Books, September 2026) and the forthcoming Our Chinatown Market (Penguin Viking, Spring 2028). A former government and higher education professional turned author, she draws on a decade of work and travel across 30+ countries, and a lifelong love of story, to write books rooted in heart and wonder. Long Biography

Jasmine Fang is a children’s author who creates stories rooted in heart and wonder. Her books include Beneath the Same Round Moon (Beaming Books, September 2026) and the forthcoming Our Chinatown Market (Penguin Viking, Spring 2028).

Before turning to children's books, Jasmine spent a decade in international affairs, higher education, and leadership development​- work that took her to over 30 countries and shaped a lasting belief: the best stories are the ones that connect us across cultures. She holds a BA from UC Irvine and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Jasmine lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, kids, and an ever-growing collection of tennis rackets. She’s a library staff member and YMCA Project Cornerstone volunteer. When ​Jasmine's not writing, you'll find her on a hiking trail or baking with her kids.
